Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in business development or lead generation roles, ideally supporting enterprise-level customers. Your background may include customer-facing roles, and you possess a degree in business, marketing, or information technology, which is a plus. You are eager to learn and grow, with a strong desire to develop relationships with enterprise market segment prospects. You understand the importance of nurturing leads over time and are motivated to contribute to a team sales environment.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Sales Development Representative, you will participate in a team sales environment, working closely with the enterprise and global sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to generate incremental enterprise-level pipeline and revenue through phone-based qualification of outbound targeted marketing campaigns. You will engage in account mining to qualify prospects' desire and need to evaluate Minitab's analytics solutions. Additionally, you will facilitate and maintain ongoing relationships with these prospects, nurturing them until they are ready to be qualified as active sales opportunities within your assigned sales team. Through continuous training and sales coaching, you will have the opportunity to grow into an inside sales role as an account manager, where you can develop and manage customers directly, generating bookings and revenue growth.
