Overview

Minitab is hiring an Enterprise Sales Development Representative to generate enterprise-level pipeline and revenue through outbound marketing campaigns. This role requires 2+ years of experience in business development and offers a pathway to an account manager position.

Who you are

You have 2+ years of experience in business development or lead generation roles, ideally supporting enterprise-level customers. Your background may include customer-facing roles, and you hold a college degree in business, marketing, or information technology. You are eager to learn and grow within a sales environment, and you thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere where collaboration is key.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with prospects and nurture relationships over time. Your ability to qualify leads and understand customer needs will be essential in generating interest in Minitab's analytics solutions. You are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the sales team's success and are open to continuous training and coaching.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Sales Development Representative, you will participate in a team sales environment, working closely with the enterprise and global sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to generate incremental enterprise-level pipeline and revenue through phone-based qualification of outbound targeted marketing campaigns. You will engage with prospects to understand their desire and need to evaluate Minitab's analytics offerings, ensuring that you effectively qualify leads for the sales team.

In addition to generating leads, you will facilitate and maintain ongoing relationships with prospects in the enterprise market segment. This nurturing process is crucial as it prepares these prospects for qualification as active sales opportunities within your assigned sales team. You will have the opportunity to grow into an inside sales role as an account manager, where you can develop and manage customers directly, contributing to bookings and revenue growth.
