Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in business development or lead generation roles, ideally supporting enterprise-level customers. Your background may include customer-facing positions, and a degree in business, marketing, or information technology is a plus. You are eager to learn and grow within a sales environment, with a strong desire to build relationships with prospects over time.
You understand the importance of nurturing leads and have the ability to qualify their interest in analytics solutions. Your communication skills allow you to effectively engage with potential clients and convey the value of Minitab's offerings. You are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a team sales environment and are ready to take on challenges that come with outbound sales efforts.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Sales Development Representative, you will participate in a team sales environment, collaborating closely with the enterprise and global sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to generate incremental enterprise-level pipeline and revenue through phone-based qualification of outbound targeted marketing campaigns. You will engage with prospects to understand their needs and facilitate ongoing relationships, nurturing them until they are ready to be qualified as active sales opportunities.
You will receive continuous training and sales coaching, which will prepare you for potential advancement into an inside sales role as an account manager. In this capacity, you will develop and manage customer relationships directly, contributing to bookings and revenue growth for Minitab. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that prospects are well-informed about our analytics solutions and are guided through the evaluation process.
