What you'll do
As a Business Development Manager at Mollie, you will be responsible for outbounding to prospective merchants in Italy through various channels, including email sequences, cold calling, and in-person events. You will follow up with inbound marketing and partnership leads, utilizing Mollie's suite of tools to engage effectively. Your ultimate objective is to expand Mollie's customer base into the medium and large size segment, turning newly signed customers into strong ambassadors for the brand.
You will take full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting and nurturing leads to understanding their pain points and crafting tailored solutions. Your role will involve conducting in-depth sales conversations, leveraging your strong relationship-building skills to foster trust and transparency with clients. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to develop strategies that drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
