Okta is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for their Auth0 team to drive territory growth and cultivate customer relationships. You'll focus on providing value to Application Development teams and require experience in security and identity management.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly motivated and self-driven Account Executive with a passion for security and a strong understanding of identity management. With at least 5 years of experience in sales, you have a proven track record of driving growth through both new customer acquisition and nurturing existing relationships. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional value to your clients.
Your experience includes working closely with Application Development teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture. You understand the complexities of identity threats and are adept at communicating the value of security solutions to diverse stakeholders. You are a lifelong learner who embraces new challenges and perspectives, contributing to a culture of growth and innovation.
Desirable
Experience in the identity management or cybersecurity space is a plus, as is familiarity with the Okta and Auth0 platforms. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a strategic mindset that allows you to identify opportunities for growth within your territory.
What you'll do
As a Strategic Account Executive at Okta, you will be responsible for driving territory growth by acquiring new logos and expanding relationships with existing Auth0 customers. You will leverage your expertise in identity management to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of Application Development teams. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and to drive consistent results.
You will engage with clients to understand their security challenges and articulate how Auth0 can help mitigate identity threats. This will involve conducting product demonstrations, participating in sales presentations, and developing strategic account plans. You will also be expected to maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends to effectively position Auth0's offerings.
In addition to driving sales, you will play a key role in fostering relationships within the Okta ecosystem, collaborating with other teams to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Your commitment to customer success will be evident as you work to ensure that clients derive maximum value from their investment in Auth0.
