Who you are
You are a highly motivated and self-driven professional with a strong background in account management, particularly in the technology sector. With at least 5 years of experience as an Account Executive, you have a proven track record of driving sales growth and cultivating long-term relationships with clients. Your passion for security and identity management is evident in your approach to sales, as you understand the importance of protecting against identity threats. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work closely with engineering, product, security, and architecture teams to deliver value to customers.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to listen and understand customer needs enables you to tailor solutions that meet their specific requirements. You are a lifelong learner, always seeking to expand your knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of identity management and security.
Desirable
Experience in the enterprise software sales space, particularly with identity and access management solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with the Auth0 platform or similar technologies will give you an edge in understanding customer needs and positioning Okta's offerings effectively.
What you'll do
As a Senior Account Executive for Auth0 at Okta, you will be responsible for driving territory growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships. You will engage with Application Development teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture, to understand their needs and demonstrate how Auth0 can provide secure access and authentication solutions. Your role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
You will leverage your expertise in identity management to educate potential clients about the importance of security and how Auth0 can help mitigate risks associated with identity threats. By building strong relationships with key stakeholders, you will position yourself as a trusted advisor, guiding them through the decision-making process and ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their needs.
Collaboration with the broader Okta ecosystem will be essential as you work to align your sales efforts with marketing initiatives and product development. You will participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to share insights, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes. Your commitment to consistent results and customer satisfaction will drive your success in this role.
