Overview

OpenAI is hiring an Account Director for their Digital Natives team to manage customer accounts and drive AI product deployment. You'll collaborate with researchers and engineers to create impactful solutions. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and strategic vision.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales and account management, ideally with experience in technology or AI solutions. Your ability to understand complex technical concepts allows you to effectively communicate the value of AI products to customers. You are a strategic thinker, capable of developing comprehensive account plans that align with customer needs and business goals.

You excel in building relationships and partnerships, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and customer satisfaction. Your analytical skills enable you to assess key account metrics and forecast revenue accurately, driving growth for both your accounts and the company.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, guiding them from initial engagement through to successful deployment and renewal. You will develop and execute strategies for comprehensive account plans, ensuring that customers understand the deep impact AI can have on their business. Collaborating with solutions and research engineering teams, you will build and execute complex customer programs and projects that leverage OpenAI's capabilities.

You will be a key driver of opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure. Your role will involve analyzing key account metrics to inform your strategies and support your revenue targets. You will also partner with various teams within OpenAI to create valuable solutions that help bring AI to as many users as possible.
