OpenAI is seeking an Account Director for their Digital Natives team to drive new business opportunities and manage enterprise customer journeys. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and strategic vision.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in technology or AI solutions. You understand the importance of building relationships and can effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify opportunities and drive initiatives that align with customer needs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and researchers to deliver tailored solutions. You are results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a fast-evolving industry, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities, guiding enterprise prospects from initial consideration to successful deployment of AI solutions. You will collaborate with solutions and research engineering teams to develop and execute complex customer programs. Your responsibilities will include leading discussions with potential clients, understanding their unique challenges, and demonstrating how OpenAI's products can provide value. You will also be responsible for managing compliance with job posting regulations and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to position OpenAI effectively in the market.
