You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with selling to government entities. Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders in government organizations sets you apart. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of OpenGov's solutions to potential clients. Your collaborative nature enables you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring that customer needs are met with the highest standards of service. You are adept at lead generation and have experience managing the sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
What you'll do
As the Enterprise Account Executive, you will quarterback the customer relationship for the full OpenGov team, driving the overall account strategy and marshaling the pre-sales team to grow both new and existing customer accounts. You will be responsible for generating new leads through various channels and managing relationships with senior leaders of customer and prospect government organizations. Your role will involve conducting sales calls, negotiating proposals and contracts, and ultimately closing deals that contribute to OpenGov's mission of powering more effective and accountable government.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and service delivery. Your insights will help shape the future of OpenGov's offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of public sector clients. You will also be expected to meet and exceed sales goals, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
