OwnBackup is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive new business in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) sectors. You'll be responsible for converting prospects into paying customers and managing existing accounts. This role requires a strong ability to build long-term relationships and achieve sales goals.

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) sectors, with a strong ability to hunt for new business and convert leads into customers. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to build long-term, profitable relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met while achieving your sales targets. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by the opportunity to grow within the company, with many of your peers advancing to management roles.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with prospects and existing customers alike. Your ability to understand customer needs and articulate the value of the OwnBackup platform is key to your success. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are driven by results, always looking for ways to exceed your quotas and unlock new opportunities.
What you'll do
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and converting prospects in the SLED territories of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Your day-to-day activities will involve both inbound and outbound sales efforts, where you will engage with potential clients to demonstrate the value of the OwnBackup platform. You will also manage existing customer accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
You will collaborate closely with your team to develop strategies for reaching new clients and expanding your territory. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape, allowing you to position OwnBackup effectively against competitors. You will also participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
