Who you are
You are a smart and ambitious individual eager to kickstart your career in business development. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to Paddle's growth as a Business Development Representative. Your autonomy and drive will help you excel in this role, where you will be the first point of contact for Paddle's sales efforts.
You possess strong research and prospecting skills, allowing you to identify and prioritize accounts effectively. You are comfortable educating prospects about Paddle's offerings and converting interest into high-quality meetings. Your ability to spark meaningful conversations will be crucial in building early relationships that turn into a qualified pipeline for the Account Executive team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will quickly develop a deep understanding of Paddle's ideal customer profile and the unique value proposition of our payments infrastructure. You will engage with potential customers, creating demand through effective communication and relationship-building strategies. Your core tasks will include researching target accounts, reaching out to prospects, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
As you master the craft and consistently hit your quota, you will have a clear pathway to grow into an Account Executive role at Paddle. You will be part of a high-performing go-to-market function, contributing to the scaling of Paddle's sales engine as we expand our customer base globally.
