You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. You understand technology and user experience, which helps you articulate the value of Paytm's offerings to merchants — your willingness to experiment and continuously improve sets you apart in a competitive landscape. You are detail-oriented and adhere to risk guidelines, ensuring quality onboarding of merchants to minimize fraud and chargebacks.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your specified area — this will involve physically visiting micro markets to identify and sell to high-quality merchants. You will engage with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify and resolve common bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you will embody the company's values of staying hungry, humble, and relevant — your role will require you to seek references from converted clients to expand your network further. You will also be tasked with resolving high-risk issues highlighted during merchant visits, ensuring that all onboarding processes adhere to the established risk guidelines.
