Paytm is hiring a Team Lead for their EDC Retail team to drive sales and manage merchant relationships in Vadodara. You'll leverage your B2B sales experience and strong communication skills to enhance merchant onboarding and resolve issues.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to build trust and rapport with merchants effectively.

You possess a solid understanding of technology and user experience, which helps you articulate the value of Paytm's offerings to merchants. You are willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach, ensuring that you stay relevant in a fast-evolving market.

What you'll do

As a Team Lead at Paytm, you will be responsible for increasing sales of our devices among merchants in your designated area. This role requires you to physically visit micro markets, identify high-quality merchants, and engage them in our offerings. You will minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring a thorough and quality merchant onboarding process.

You will adhere to the risk guidelines shared by the team and proactively visit merchants to resolve any issues flagged as high risk. Additionally, you will seek references from converted clients to expand your network of potential merchants. You will collaborate with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify and address common bottlenecks, particularly on the technology front.
