Paytm is hiring a KAM(GT) - Team Lead for their EDC team to drive sales of devices among merchants in Haldwani. You'll leverage your B2B sales experience and strong communication skills to identify and onboard quality merchants.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively convey the value of products to merchants. You understand technology and user experience, which helps you articulate how Paytm's solutions can benefit businesses. You are willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach to sales, adapting to the needs of the market and your clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in a specified area. This will involve physical movement into micro markets to identify and sell to quality merchants. You will minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring a high standard of merchant onboarding, adhering to risk guidelines shared by the team. Engaging with various business and technology teams within Paytm, you will identify common bottlenecks, especially on the technology front, and work to resolve them. As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you will embody the company's values of staying hungry, humble, and relevant.
