You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to build relationships and close deals effectively. You understand technology and user experience, which helps you convey the value of Paytm's offerings to merchants. You are willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach to sales, adapting to the needs of your clients and the market.

What you'll do

As the KAM(GT) - Team Lead, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your designated area. This role requires you to physically visit micro markets, identify high-quality merchants, and engage them in meaningful conversations about how Paytm can help their businesses grow. You will minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring a thorough onboarding process for new merchants, adhering to the risk guidelines provided by the team. Additionally, you will collaborate with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify and resolve common bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth experience for your clients. As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you will embody the company's values and mission, striving to bring more merchants into the mainstream economy through innovative technology.
