Paytm is hiring a KAM(GT) - Team Lead for their EDC team to drive sales among merchants in Bilaspur. You'll leverage your B2B sales experience and strong communication skills to onboard quality merchants and resolve issues. This role requires a bachelor's degree and experience in field sales.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you understand the nuances of engaging with merchants and can effectively communicate the value of Paytm's offerings. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to close deals and foster long-term relationships with clients. You are comfortable with technology and user experience, which helps you identify and resolve issues that merchants face. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to both clients and internal teams. You are willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach to sales, adapting to the needs of the market.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your designated area. This will involve physically visiting micro markets to identify and engage with potential clients, ensuring a high-quality onboarding process to minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks. You will adhere to risk guidelines and work closely with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify and address common bottlenecks. As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you will represent the company's values and mission, striving to help merchants grow their businesses through data-driven technology. You will also seek references from converted clients to expand your network and drive further sales.
