You are a seasoned sales leader with a strong background in payments and financial technology β you have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing high-performing teams. With deep expertise in ACH, credit cards, and payment risk, you understand the complexities of money movement and can translate customer needs into actionable strategies. You thrive in ambiguous environments and have the ability to influence without direct authority, making you a natural fit for a player-coach role. Your consultative selling approach allows you to build strong relationships with clients and understand their unique challenges. You are motivated by scaling emerging solutions and have a passion for empowering teams to achieve their goals.
Desirable
Experience working with Fortune 500 companies and large financial institutions is a plus. Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies and a strong network in the payments industry will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As the Account Executive Leader - Payments at Plaid, you will be responsible for leading the Payments Product Sales team, focusing on driving adoption and growth of Plaidβs payment solutions. You will work closely with Product and cross-functional Go-To-Market teams to shape sales strategies that align with customer needs. Your role will involve directly closing strategic deals while mentoring and developing specialist Account Executives. You will leverage your industry expertise to identify commercial opportunities and accelerate Plaidβs growth trajectory. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will translate complex customer fraud challenges into meaningful, revenue-generating outcomes. Your hands-on approach will ensure that the team remains agile and responsive to market demands, ultimately contributing to the success of Plaidβs payment solutions.
