You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the technology sector — you understand the nuances of selling complex solutions to enterprise clients and have a knack for building relationships that lead to long-term partnerships. You are a relentless self-starter who thrives in a competitive environment, always looking for new opportunities to grow your territory and exceed sales quotas. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineers and Channel Partners, is key to your success in this role.
You are data-driven and focused on results — you know how to manage a sales pipeline effectively and are comfortable using CRM tools to track your progress. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to present solutions clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of enterprise sales, understanding the unique challenges that come with each account.

Experience in cybersecurity or data protection solutions would be a significant advantage, as it allows you to speak knowledgeably about the challenges your clients face. What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Rubrik, you will define and execute sales plans for your assigned territory, focusing on both new and existing accounts. Your primary goal will be to meet and exceed your sales quota through strategic prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales opportunities. You will develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that you are consistently moving a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process.
You will work closely with Sales Engineers and other team members to present Rubrik's solutions effectively, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each client. Your role will involve identifying new opportunities for growth, particularly within mid to large enterprise accounts, and driving customer expansion through effective account management strategies.
You will be responsible for generating pipeline daily, which requires a proactive approach to outreach and engagement. You will collaborate with various teams, including Sales Development and Channel Development, to ensure that you have the support and resources needed to succeed. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback will inform your sales strategies and help you stay ahead of the competition.
