Overview

Rubrik is seeking an Account Executive for the Federal Civilian sector to drive sales growth across various government entities. You'll focus on acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. This role requires a strong sales background and a proactive approach to pipeline management.

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the federal sector, demonstrating your ability to drive bookings growth and manage client relationships effectively. Your experience includes working with government entities, showcasing your understanding of their unique needs and challenges. You are a relentless self-starter, focused on acquiring new logos and developing opportunities that lead to successful sales outcomes. Your skills in pipeline management and account strategy execution are complemented by your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineers and Channel Partners.

You thrive in a competitive environment and are motivated by exceeding sales quotas. Your history of sales excellence is evident through impressive pipeline growth and your innovative approach to prospecting and qualification. You understand the importance of building strong relationships with clients and are committed to their success, ensuring that you encourage existing customer expansion while pursuing new opportunities.

Desirable

Experience in cybersecurity sales or related fields would be a plus, as it aligns with Rubrik's mission to protect data against cyber threats. Familiarity with federal procurement processes and government contracting can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Rubrik, you will take ownership of all elements of bookings growth in new and existing accounts across various federal agencies, including the State Department and Department of Transportation. You will define and execute sales plans tailored to your assigned territory, ensuring that you meet and exceed your sales quotas through diligent prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals. Your daily activities will involve driving pipeline generation, managing your sales funnel, and collaborating closely with Sales Engineers and other team members to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

You will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies that align with Rubrik's goals and the specific needs of your clients. This includes identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts, as well as actively seeking new business opportunities. Your role will require you to maintain a deep understanding of Rubrik's offerings and how they can address the challenges faced by federal agencies in terms of data protection and resilience against cyber threats.
