Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth. With a hunter mentality, you excel at prospecting and developing relationships with corporate decision makers across various industries. Your experience includes a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and building a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting and creativity.

You understand the importance of needs-based selling and can effectively influence prospects at the senior leadership level. Your strategic approach to solution-selling allows you to represent Skillsoft's content, platform, and services effectively, highlighting key competitive differentiators. You are comfortable collaborating with specialist and growth representatives to maximize cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition. You will sell Skillsoft's solutions directly to corporate decision makers, ensuring that you understand their business objectives and goals. Your responsibilities will include preparing for meetings with thorough research and tailored presentations, as well as maintaining impeccable follow-up to advance critical opportunities.

You will partner with related sales, marketing, and support resources to enhance market penetration and drive successful outcomes. Your ability to outline measurable business objectives will be crucial in achieving success in this role. You will also be expected to develop a thorough understanding of Skillsoft's sales plays and effectively represent the solution line to potential clients.
