Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in new customer acquisition, demonstrating a hunter mentality and a strategic, solution-selling approach. Your experience includes needs-based relationship sales across diverse industries, showcasing your ability to connect with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives. You thrive in environments where you can apply creativity and hard work to build a robust pipeline of business through outbound prospecting.
Your ability to influence prospects at senior leadership levels sets you apart, as you understand the nuances of selling to multiple decision-makers within complex organizations. You are driven by results, consistently achieving over-quota performance and demonstrating a strong understanding of the sales process, from outreach to closing deals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition. You will sell Skillsoft's content, platform, and services solutions directly to corporate decision-makers, ensuring that you represent the solution line with key competitive differentiators. You will partner with specialist representatives on cross-sell opportunities for new customers and collaborate with growth representatives on upsell opportunities in a land-and-expand sales motion.
Your day-to-day activities will involve applying a mathematical approach to selling, where you will track your outreach efforts, conversations, and meetings to build a pipeline that covers 4-5 times your sales targets. You will work closely with related sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure a cohesive strategy that aligns with Skillsoft's mission of empowering organizations and learners.
