Who you are
You have 7-8 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in a pre-sales environment where you've honed your presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences. Your ability to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake's solutions is a key strength, allowing you to effectively demonstrate value through compelling presentations and demonstrations.
You possess a broad experience in large-scale databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, and analytics, which enables you to navigate complex technical discussions with ease. Your hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics allows you to engage deeply with customers and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
You are fluent in both Japanese and English, which enhances your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Your flexibility and willingness to engage actively in a fast-paced environment align with Snowflake's mission to redefine the data landscape.
Desirable
Experience with cloud technologies and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape in the data industry will set you apart. Familiarity with Snowflake's technology and its positioning in the market will be beneficial as you work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to drive product improvements and marketing initiatives.
What you'll do
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Snowflake, you will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and IT professionals, demonstrating its value throughout the sales cycle. You will collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and plan support for sales opportunities, ensuring that you provide persuasive, value-oriented demonstrations and support for customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
You will stay informed about the evolving industry landscape, understanding competitors and related technologies to effectively position Snowflake's offerings. Your role will involve working closely with product management, engineering, and marketing to implement product improvements and marketing activities that resonate with customer needs.
