Overview

SolarWinds is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive revenue growth within mid-sized organizations in Australia and New Zealand. This full-cycle sales role involves both hunting for new business and farming existing accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and build consultative relationships with key decision-makers.

You have experience in full-cycle sales management, adept at managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing. You understand the importance of building deeper, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and are skilled at leveraging a high-velocity, inside-first sales model. You are comfortable working closely with channel partners to identify, qualify, and close opportunities, ensuring mutual success.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector or with software solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with sales methodologies that emphasize relationship-building and consultative selling. You are open to learning and adapting to new sales strategies that can enhance your effectiveness in the role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within a defined territory of mid-sized organizations in Australia and New Zealand. You will blend hunting for new business with farming existing accounts, ensuring a balanced approach to sales. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing deals. You will leverage SolarWinds’ high-velocity, inside-first sales model to maximize your effectiveness.

You will work closely with our extensive Channel Partner ecosystem, identifying and qualifying opportunities that align with customer needs. Building consultative relationships with key decision-makers will be crucial to your success, as you aim to create lasting growth for both your clients and SolarWinds. You will also be expected to collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into our solutions, enhancing the overall customer experience.
