Who you are
You have a strong background in market access and development, ideally with experience in the telecommunications or satellite industry. You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to conduct in-depth market research to assess demand and the competitive landscape. Your ability to build and grow a network of supportive stakeholders across public and private sectors is crucial for promoting Starlink's growth in the region. You are adept at aligning market development efforts with technical capabilities and compliance requirements, ensuring that all initiatives are feasible and strategically sound.

Experience in regulatory affairs or business operations within the telecommunications sector would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with satellite technology and broadband internet services will help you navigate the complexities of the market. What you'll do
In this role, you will lead efforts to support new market regulatory initiatives for Starlink, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will oversee business operations for existing markets, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, logistics, legal, tax, and sales teams, you will align market development efforts with product roadmaps and technical capabilities. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing market data to inform strategic decisions and developing a pipeline of commercial opportunities for the Enterprise Sales team.
You will also be responsible for nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, advocating for Starlink's interests, and promoting its growth in the African market. Your role will involve regular communication with internal teams to ensure that market access strategies are effectively implemented and that all operational aspects are running smoothly. You will play a critical role in shaping Starlink's future presence in Africa, contributing to the company's mission of providing low-latency broadband internet worldwide.
