Who you are
You have a strong background in sales, ideally with prior experience in a customer-facing role at a high-growth payments company. You possess superior verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs. Your operational acumen enables you to manage and prioritize a book of business efficiently, ensuring that you can navigate complex sales cycles with ease. You thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to adapt and strategize effectively. Your analytical mindset allows you to conduct quantitative analysis and manage pricing negotiations independently, ensuring that you can drive value for both the customer and Stripe.
What you'll do
As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in fueling the company's growth by expanding revenue from existing mid-market customers. You will set the strategy for your territory, identifying opportunities for customers to maximize their use of Stripe's products. Your responsibilities will include generating upsell opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies to grow revenue per user, and ensuring customer retention. You will own the full sales cycle, from business case development to execution, nurturing relationships with clients to increase adoption of Stripe's solutions. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on customer needs and drive successful outcomes.
