Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the payments industry, and are adept at engaging in both business-level and technical conversations with stakeholders at various levels, including CEOs and CTOs. Your experience includes leading complex negotiations and crafting bespoke commercial agreements that drive meaningful business results. You are comfortable navigating the intricacies of the Marketplace segment and understand the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
You possess a deep understanding of product market fit and have successfully driven growth initiatives in previous roles. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, allows you to develop comprehensive product and industry knowledge that informs your sales strategies. You are results-oriented and thrive in environments where you can leverage your expertise to influence strategic decisions.
Desirable
Experience specifically selling payments solutions to enterprise customers is highly preferred, as is prior experience working directly with Marketplaces and SaaS platforms. You are familiar with the nuances of the marketplace ecosystem and can articulate the value of Stripe's offerings to potential clients.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive in the Marketplace Sales team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of Stripe's products and solutions within the Marketplace segment. You will leverage your sales and product expertise to engage with existing and prospective users globally, leading in-depth product discussions that align with their needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing against a go-to-market strategy that positions Stripe as a leader in the marketplace space.
You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure that your sales approach is informed by the latest product developments and market trends. This collaboration will enable you to craft tailored solutions that meet the complex technical requirements of your clients. You will also be instrumental in identifying and pursuing strategic deals that contribute to the overall growth of the Marketplace segment.
Your role will involve leading negotiations with enterprise customers, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with Stripe's business objectives. You will be expected to track and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights that help refine sales strategies and improve outcomes.
