Cognism is hiring an Account Executive to lead the acquisition and growth of mid-market customers across the UK. Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring and growing mid-market customers. Your experience in a high-growth SaaS environment has equipped you with the skills to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers and drive revenue growth.

You understand the sales cycle from start to finish, having led outbound prospecting efforts and successfully negotiated contracts. Your ability to showcase product value and exceed quotas is a testament to your sales acumen. You are passionate about understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable strategies that benefit both the customer and the company.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own your territory and be responsible for developing a go-to-market strategy tailored to mid-market customers. You will work closely with Sales Development to identify and engage high-potential prospects, converting them into new business revenue. Leading the sales cycle, you will handle everything from outbound prospecting to tailored demos and contract negotiations, consistently surpassing quotas.

You will collaborate with various teams, including Sales Development, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, and Product, to create a seamless customer journey. Your efforts will directly contribute to Cognism's growth in the UK market, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's go-to-market strategy. You will also be expected to celebrate successes and foster a culture of inclusivity and support within the team.
