Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing existing accounts and expanding business opportunities. Your ability to engage with executive stakeholders and understand their needs allows you to develop effective account plans that drive growth. You thrive in complex negotiation scenarios, demonstrating superior verbal and written communication skills that help you navigate competitive situations. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and have a strong interest in technology, particularly in the fintech and payments sectors.

Desirable

Prior experience at a growth stage internet or software company is preferred, as is experience in the fintech or payments industry. You understand the nuances of commercial agreements and can lead negotiations that involve bespoke terms tailored to client needs.

What you'll do

As a Senior Account Executive at Stripe, you will own the full sales cycle for existing enterprise accounts, from developing business cases to structuring deals and closing them. You will work closely with existing customers to execute long-term sales strategies aimed at expanding Stripe's revenue. Your role will involve building relationships with executive stakeholders, understanding their challenges, and aligning Stripe's solutions to meet their needs. You will drive deal strategy and lead commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals, ensuring that you deliver value in competitive situations. Your ability to engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders will be crucial in identifying new opportunities and expanding Stripe's footprint within existing accounts.
