Overview

Supabase is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to grow their customer base of developer-first startups. You'll manage the full sales cycle and work closely with technical buyers. This role requires 2-5 years of experience in a technical sales role.

Who you are

You have 2-5 years of experience in a technical sales role, ideally within the developer tools or infrastructure space — you understand the unique needs of developer-first startups and can navigate complex sales cycles with ease. You thrive in startup environments, enjoying the fast-paced and often ambiguous nature of the work. Your ability to communicate effectively with founders, engineers, and technical buyers sets you apart, allowing you to build strong relationships and trust with your clients.

You are a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and driving your own success — you enjoy the challenge of running a creative, value-driven sales process that aligns with the needs of your customers. Your strong understanding of developer workflows enables you to educate customers on how Supabase fits into their technology stack, ensuring they see the value in our solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals — you will run technical discovery sessions to align on business outcomes and demonstrate how Supabase can meet customer needs. Partnering with Sales Engineers and Product teams, you will showcase our capabilities through engaging demos that highlight the benefits of our platform. Your goal will be to build a robust sales pipeline and consistently hit revenue targets, contributing to the overall growth of Supabase.

You will also play a key role in ensuring smooth onboarding for new customers, collaborating cross-functionally to provide a seamless experience. As you define what modern sales looks like at Supabase, you will have the opportunity to shape our approach and contribute to our sales strategy. Your insights and feedback will be invaluable in refining our processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
