You have 5-7 years of experience in sales, specifically in the digital media sector, with a proven track record of success in the Malaysian market. Your strong media background focuses on performance marketing, allowing you to effectively engage with brands and agencies. You possess a deep understanding of the Malaysian media industry and have the capability to leverage strong connections within the market to drive advertising partnerships. You take a strategic approach to selling, experienced in planning and executing sales strategies while building robust pipelines and prioritizing sales activities based on business impact.

As a confident presenter, you can structure and deliver engaging sales pitches that address client needs. Your strong analytical skills enable you to identify trends in data, using this information to influence clients and formulate successful sales strategies. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, demonstrating the will and ability to drive revenue while facing new challenges daily. Being a team player is essential, as you will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve sales goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the first in-market employee for Taboola in Malaysia, leading the charge to grow the company's presence in the region. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and cement advertising partnerships with brands and agencies, expanding and diversifying Taboola's growing network of advertisers. You will independently source, prospect, and close brand and performance marketing deals, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets.

You will collaborate closely with the Enterprise Team to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Malaysian market. This includes conducting market research to identify potential clients and understanding their advertising needs. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that Taboola's offerings align with their marketing objectives.

Your role will involve analyzing sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement. You will use this data to inform your sales strategies and make data-driven decisions that enhance client engagement and satisfaction. Additionally, you will participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy of the company, sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues.
