Who you are
You are a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new business and building strategic partnerships. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping diverse businesses succeed on platforms like Uber Eats. Your experience includes managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closing. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to clearly articulate value propositions to potential partners and effectively respond to their questions and objections.
You have a strong understanding of the grocery and retail sectors, particularly in working with franchisees from leading grocery brands. Your ability to develop compelling proposals that address key business challenges makes you a valuable asset to any team. You are resilient and self-starting, always looking for ways to improve your approach and drive results.
Desirable
Experience in the grocery, pharmacy, or retail verticals is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM and reporting tools for disciplined pipeline management. You are comfortable with cold calling and have a knack for building strong external relationships that foster long-term partnerships.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive new business acquisition across Sweden and the Nordics, focusing on attracting grocery franchisees and securing new accounts within key verticals. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, managing everything from cold calling to closing deals. Your strategic mindset will help you act as a growth partner to new merchants, developing proposals that solve their business challenges and clearly communicating the value of the Uber Eats platform.
You will be responsible for creating and executing acquisition strategies that align with the company's goals. This includes identifying high-potential accounts and developing tailored approaches to engage them effectively. You will utilize CRM tools to manage your pipeline and ensure disciplined follow-up with prospects.
Your role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure that the onboarding process for new merchants is smooth and that their needs are met post-acquisition. You will be expected to provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on your interactions with merchants, helping to shape future offerings and strategies.
