Overview

Upside is seeking a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to grow and manage their partner distribution network of consumer applications. You'll work closely with strategic partners, including leading consumer apps and major banking institutions, to drive consumer acquisition and transaction growth.

Who you are

You have a strong background in managing strategic partnerships, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You excel at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that partnerships are successful from launch to scale. Your ability to influence and drive strategy is complemented by your collaborative approach, working effectively with product, engineering, and marketing teams.

You understand the intricacies of partnership management and are skilled at navigating complex negotiations and implementations. Your experience includes working with fintechs and consumer applications, giving you a unique perspective on the needs and challenges of both partners and consumers. You are detail-oriented and ensure that all partnership deal terms are delivered on time and in full, fostering trust and belief throughout the partnership.

Desirable

Experience in the fintech industry or with consumer applications is a plus. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on long-term goals. Your analytical skills allow you to assess partnership performance and identify opportunities for growth.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager at Upside, you will own a portfolio of strategic partners, guiding them through the implementation and launch phases. You will lead efforts to ensure that partnerships are not only established but also expanded over time, promoting trust and belief in Upside's value proposition. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams to deliver meaningful consumer acquisition strategies and transaction growth for our retailers.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with leading consumer apps and major banking institutions, ensuring that all aspects of the partnership are executed flawlessly. This includes regular communication with partners to address any concerns and to explore new opportunities for collaboration. You will also play a key role in influencing the overall consumer partnership strategy, leveraging insights from your interactions with partners to inform future initiatives.

Your success in this role will be measured by the growth of the partner distribution network and the effectiveness of the partnerships in driving consumer engagement and transaction volume. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align on goals and ensure that all efforts are coordinated and impactful.
