Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in the State and Local (SLED) market. You'll focus on formulating and executing a sales strategy within the NOVA/DC region. This role requires experience in sales and a passion for public sector engagement.

Who you are

You are a driven individual with a strong background in sales, particularly in the public sector. With experience in acquiring new business, you understand the nuances of working with state and local governments as well as educational institutions. Your energy and passion for sales are evident in your approach to building relationships and closing deals.

You have a proven track record of success in sales, ideally within the technology or security sectors. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand customer needs allows you to tailor solutions that meet their requirements. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a growing team.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Verkada, you will play a crucial role in developing the territory and executing a sales strategy that drives new customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will engage with municipalities and educational institutions, understanding their unique challenges and presenting Verkada's integrated, AI-powered security solutions as the answer. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential clients, conducting outreach, and nurturing relationships to close sales.

You will collaborate closely with the Public Sector Field Sales team, leveraging their expertise and resources to maximize your impact in the NOVA/DC region. Your role will involve not only selling but also educating clients about the benefits of Verkada's offerings, ensuring they feel confident in their decision to partner with us.
