Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly in the B2B SaaS or communications technology sectors. Your track record includes consistently achieving sales targets, particularly in complex deals involving multiple stakeholders. You are adept at navigating intricate purchasing processes that involve legal, procurement, and C-level executives, ensuring that you can effectively close high-value contracts.

Your strong understanding of various industries, including financial services, retail, manufacturing, technology, and healthcare, allows you to tailor your sales strategies to meet specific business needs. You excel in solution selling and are familiar with the Challenger Sales methodology, which enables you to differentiate Vonage's offerings in a competitive landscape.

You are skilled in building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, utilizing tools like Salesforce and other sales tech to forecast accurately and maintain a high level of pipeline coverage. Your ability to engage cross-functionally with sales engineers, product teams, and customer success ensures that you can deliver scalable solutions that meet customer requirements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the sales strategy for Vonage, focusing on enterprise-level business opportunities. You will drive the entire sales cycle from targeting and prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that you align your account plans with customer business challenges and Vonage's value propositions. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing account plans that deliver continuous value to clients, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will engage in complex sales processes, leading cross-functional engagements that accelerate decision-making and drive business transformation for your clients. Your expertise in vertical markets will be crucial as you execute sales strategies that connect Vonage's solutions to tangible business outcomes.

You will also be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline through targeted outbound strategies and account-based marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with business development, marketing, and channel teams, you will create opportunities that contribute to Vonage's growth in Japan.

Your role will involve leveraging Salesforce and other sales tools to maintain accurate forecasts and ensure that you meet or exceed your sales targets. You will work collaboratively with sales engineers and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
