You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills — you can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality localized content. Your familiarity with gaming and app-related content gives you an edge in understanding the context and audience, allowing you to create compelling user experiences. You are comfortable working with client tools and have a flexible schedule to accommodate project demands.
What you'll do
As a Dutch Gaming Localization Linguist at Welocalize, you will be responsible for translating and adapting a variety of gaming-related content from English (US) to Dutch (NL). Your work will involve not just translation but also transcreation and copy editing to ensure that the content is culturally relevant and engaging for the target audience. You will collaborate with the Gaming Localization team to shape in-app content that enhances user experiences across different genres and platforms.
You will manage a workload of 2–5 hours per day, providing daily or weekly availability as needed. Your role will require you to complete assessments that include translation and gaming/creative tasks to demonstrate your skills. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation in language services, contributing to high-quality training data transformation solutions for NLP-enabled machine learning.
