Whatnot is seeking a People Ops & Systems Lead to build and lead their global people operations infrastructure. You'll oversee onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and HRIS strategy as the company scales. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills.

You have a proven track record in people operations, with experience in building and leading HR systems that support rapid growth. Your expertise in onboarding and offboarding processes ensures a seamless employee experience from start to finish. You are skilled in HRIS and people systems strategy, with a focus on compliance and documentation that meets organizational needs. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at designing scalable processes that enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, empowering teams to excel in their roles. What you'll do
In this role, you will own the full People Operations function, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective as Whatnot scales from 1,000 to 1,500+ employees. You will design and implement systems that support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will lead the strategy for HRIS and people systems, selecting and implementing tools that enhance operational excellence. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the People organization operates smoothly and effectively. You will also be responsible for developing a shared services model that supports the entire People organization, enabling it to function at scale. As a leader, you will mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
