Who you are
You have a proven track record in business development, ideally with 5+ years of experience in managing client relationships and driving sales growth. You excel at developing rapport with key decision-makers and have a knack for identifying upsell opportunities that align with client needs. Your ability to negotiate enterprise agreements and run the sales process from start to finish sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with client strategy, research, and data product teams to ensure client satisfaction and product advocacy.
You are results-driven and understand the importance of data in making informed decisions. Your experience in the technology sector, particularly in market research or analytics, gives you a unique perspective on how to position products effectively. You are comfortable working in a remote setting and can manage your time efficiently while maintaining strong communication with your team and clients.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the main growth driver for YipitData, responsible for positioning our must-have products within our base of active clients. You will manage the commercial relationship with current clients, ensuring they receive the insights and support they need to maximize the value of our offerings. Your responsibilities will include identifying upsell opportunities, running the sales process from beginning to end, and negotiating enterprise agreements that benefit both YipitData and our clients.
You will create advocates for our products by assisting clients in finding answers to their key questions and collaborating closely with our internal teams. Your role will involve regular communication with clients to understand their needs and challenges, allowing you to tailor our solutions to meet their specific requirements. You will also participate in strategic planning sessions to help shape the direction of our business development efforts and contribute to the overall growth strategy of YipitData.
