You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and have successfully partnered with enterprise customers, ideally in a startup environment. Your ability to understand customer needs and articulate the value of cloud-native databases is key to your success. You thrive in dynamic environments and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a growing company like Yugabyte.
You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Your experience in the transactional database market gives you a unique perspective on how to position YugabyteDB effectively against legacy systems. You are results-driven and motivated by the challenge of meeting ambitious sales targets.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Yugabyte, you will own key accounts within the UK, Financial Services, and Benelux regions. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and expand our customer base by engaging with enterprise clients. You will work closely with the sales team to develop strategies that resonate with potential customers and demonstrate the advantages of YugabyteDB over traditional databases.
You will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. Your role will involve collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure that our messaging aligns with customer needs and market trends.
