You have a strong background in business development, particularly in the financial services or fintech sectors, with a proven track record of securing partnerships with major retailers. Your commercial acumen allows you to identify opportunities that align with both customer needs and business goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation.
You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you interpret market trends and consumer behavior, informing strategic decisions that enhance product offerings. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the acquisition and expansion efforts across large retailers and multisector consumer brands, focusing on high GMV opportunities. You will develop and execute strategies to secure partnerships that enhance Zopa's Point of Sale finance solutions. Collaborating with Product, Commercial, Risk, and Marketing teams, you will provide market insights that shape the roadmap for new lending propositions.
You will be responsible for building a pipeline for future lending products, including Unsecured Personal Loans and Credit Cards, identifying opportunities with businesses that manage large consumer volumes. Your insights will help ensure that Zopa's offerings evolve in line with customer and partner needs, positioning the company for sustained growth in the competitive UK retail landscape.
