Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the public sector, with a focus on the Defense Industrial Base. Your experience includes building executive relationships with key stakeholders such as CROs and program managers, enabling you to effectively drive go-to-market strategies. You understand the nuances of selling innovation and change to government programs, and you are passionate about leveraging commercial technology to enhance mission-critical capabilities.

Your background includes a strong understanding of data platforms and AI/ML architectures, which allows you to engage effectively with technical leaders and line-of-business executives. You are execution-oriented and thrive in environments where you can creatively solve problems and activate joint solution selling. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a strategic mindset that aligns with the goals of the Defense Industrial Base.

Desirable

Experience in the Unified Data Analytics space or familiarity with AI technologies would be a plus. You are also encouraged to apply if you have a background in working with federal agencies or global defense contractors, as this will enhance your ability to connect with potential clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead go-to-market campaigns with strategic partners in the Defense Industrial Base. Your primary responsibility will be to activate joint solution selling and expand Databricks’ footprint in the defense sector. You will work closely with the Public Sector team and report to the Director for Federal Service Integrators and Defense Industrial Base. Your efforts will focus on building executive relationships and driving the adoption of cutting-edge capabilities that reduce time to market for government programs.

You will engage with technical leaders to understand their needs and demonstrate how Databricks can meet those needs through innovative solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored strategies that resonate with potential clients. You will also be responsible for tracking market trends and identifying opportunities for growth within the defense sector.
