Who you are
You have over 5 years of quota-carrying field sales experience, particularly in closing new workloads and expanding existing accounts. Your ability to build relationships with CTOs, Engineering, and IT leaders is a key strength, allowing you to understand their needs and how MongoDB can address them. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a high-performing sales team.
Your experience includes managing the full sales cycle for various products and services, demonstrating a strategic approach to territory planning that aligns with revenue targets. You are proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce and Clari, and you leverage prospecting tools like Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sendoso, and Outreach to maximize your outreach efforts.
You are results-driven and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Your communication skills enable you to articulate the value of MongoDB's solutions effectively, ensuring successful adoption among clients. You are open to feedback and continuously seek ways to improve your sales strategies and processes.
Desirable
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with developer data platforms, is a plus. Familiarity with the challenges faced by engineering teams and how MongoDB can solve them will set you apart. You are comfortable navigating complex sales environments and can adapt your approach based on the unique needs of each client.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting into existing MongoDB customers to identify new workloads and opportunities for growth. You will manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring that clients are well-informed and supported throughout the process. Your strategic territory plan will guide your efforts to achieve revenue targets, and you will collaborate closely with the sales ecosystem to drive initiatives and partnerships.
You will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce and Clari, ensuring that you are organized and proactive in your approach. Your ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial in driving the successful adoption of MongoDB's solutions. You will also provide feedback to the sales leadership team on how to enhance the sales process and improve team performance.
