You have a strong background in business value consulting, ideally with experience in a client-facing role where you've engaged with clients to understand their needs and communicate the potential value of solutions. Your analytical skills allow you to conduct business, technical, and financial analyses to evaluate the baseline and future state capabilities of customers. You are comfortable translating technical concepts into business benefits for management and executives, ensuring that your communication resonates with various stakeholders.

You possess excellent mentoring skills, having supported sales teams in enhancing their value-selling capabilities. Your ability to create compelling narratives that cover the current state, desired future state, and the value of closing the gap is a key strength. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working across industries, particularly in the Enterprise market, to identify optimization and growth opportunities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the sales organization by impacting both tactical and strategic opportunities for success. You will develop Business Value Consulting collateral for internal and external use, particularly when new MongoDB products are released or when a gap in the practice is identified. Engaging with customers using a value-based selling approach, you will build narratives that effectively communicate the business case and forecasted impact of MongoDB solutions.

You will also serve as a mentor to sellers who may be unfamiliar with the business value consulting role, helping to improve their capabilities in value selling. Your responsibilities will include validating the value of solutions post-sale and identifying new growth opportunities for clients. Travel may be required to meet with clients and support the sales team in various locations.
