Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to build relationships and close deals effectively.

You possess a good understanding of technology and user experience, which helps you articulate the value of Paytm's offerings to merchants. You are willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach to sales, adapting to the needs of your clients and the market.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your designated area. This will involve physically visiting micro markets to identify and sell to high-quality merchants. You will minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring a thorough onboarding process for new clients, adhering to the risk guidelines set by the team.

You will engage with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify and resolve common bottlenecks, particularly on the technology front. As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you will embody the company's values of staying hungry, humble, and relevant, while actively seeking references from converted clients to expand your network.
