Paytm is hiring a KAM(GT) - Team Lead for their EDC team to drive sales among merchants in Coimbatore. You'll leverage your B2B sales experience and communication skills to onboard quality merchants and resolve issues. This role requires a bachelor's degree and strong negotiation abilities.

Who you are

You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to build relationships with merchants and resolve issues effectively.

You possess a solid understanding of technology and user experience, which helps you articulate the value of Paytm's offerings to potential clients. You're willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach, adapting to the needs of the market and your clients.

What you'll do

As the KAM(GT) - Team Lead, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your designated area. This will involve physical movement into micro markets to identify and sell to high-quality merchants. You will minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring a thorough onboarding process for new merchants, adhering to the risk guidelines provided by the team.

You will engage with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify common bottlenecks, especially on the technology front, and work collaboratively to resolve these issues. Additionally, you will act as a brand ambassador for Paytm, embodying the company's values of staying hungry, humble, and relevant.
