You have a strong background in B2B field sales, with experience in cold calling and lead generation — you've successfully identified and engaged potential clients, leveraging your network to drive sales. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively convey the value of Paytm's offerings to merchants. You are willing to experiment and continuously improve your approach to sales, ensuring that you meet the needs of your clients and the company.
You possess a solid understanding of technology and user experience, which enables you to effectively communicate with both clients and internal teams. Your ability to identify and minimize risks associated with merchant onboarding demonstrates your attention to detail and commitment to quality. You thrive in environments where you can engage directly with clients, resolving issues and building strong relationships.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your specified area. This will involve physically visiting micro markets to identify and sell to quality merchants, ensuring that you adhere to risk guidelines to minimize fraud and chargebacks. You will engage with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify common bottlenecks, particularly on the technology front, and work collaboratively to resolve these issues.
As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you will embody the company's values of staying hungry, humble, and relevant. You will seek references from converted clients to identify other potential merchants, expanding your network and driving sales growth. Your role will require you to stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to position Paytm's products effectively.
