You have at least 1 year of professional sales experience, or you are a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree eager to start your career in sales. You are a natural at selling and have a deep knowledge of the best local restaurants, which allows you to connect with potential partners effectively. Your passion for food and the Uber brand drives your enthusiasm in this role, and you enjoy the art of negotiation to create win-win partnerships.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of your pipeline and are motivated by achieving and exceeding your monthly quotas. You are proactive in building relationships and understand the importance of maintaining communication with prospects through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings. Your ability to create a great first impression makes you an effective ambassador for Uber Eats.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage a pipeline of local small and medium restaurants, focusing on signing new partnerships in the Southern California region. You will engage in a mix of cold-callingβ€”making at least 50 dials per dayβ€”and conducting in-person meetings to establish strong relationships with restaurant owners. Your responsibilities will include managing contract negotiations to ensure sustainable economics for both Uber and the restaurant partners.

You will collaborate with the Account Management team to support a seamless onboarding experience for each new restaurant partner, helping to identify and build standard processes that enhance efficiency. Your success will be measured by your ability to proactively build your pipeline and hit weekly metrics, which include cold calls, emails, and field appointments. You will play a crucial role in expanding the Uber Eats brand by clearly communicating its value to potential partners.
