Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Business Development to lead their APAC Business Development team. You'll focus on training and coaching BDRs while utilizing tools like Salesforce and Looker. This role is based in Sydney with hybrid work flexibility.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in business development, with at least 5 years of experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in training and coaching is complemented by your ability to build high-performing teams that excel in outbound sales strategies. You are familiar with the Asia-Pacific market and understand the nuances of developing business in this region. You thrive on enabling others to succeed, providing structured coaching and skill development to elevate BDR talent. Your experience with sales technologies, including Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, allows you to leverage data effectively to drive performance. You are a strong communicator and collaborator, capable of working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience in the tech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with data-driven sales strategies. You may have worked with tools like Gong and Looker, which enhance your ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize team workflows. A background in coaching or training sales teams will set you apart, as will any experience in managing remote or hybrid teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and coach a regional team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) across the Asia-Pacific region. Your primary focus will be on building and delivering ongoing enablement programs that include onboarding, objection handling, and outbound frameworks. You will run and coach world-class discovery practices, ensuring your team is equipped with the necessary skills to qualify leads effectively. Regular one-on-ones, call reviews, and performance assessments will be part of your routine to drive consistent improvement within the team. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure that the BDR team is contributing effectively to overall business goals. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability and excellence, where team members feel supported and motivated to achieve their targets.
