Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in a sales role within the enterprise software, cloud, or AI space. Your background includes partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans, showcasing your ability to guide customer adoption of solutions and deliver business growth in AI or related technology fields.
You possess experience in promoting the AI technology stack and managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors. Your understanding of how to embed technology into product sets allows you to connect AI/ML with business value, engaging executive stakeholders as an advisor and thought leader.
You are skilled at driving business growth across a broad set of industry-specific AI/ML use cases, demonstrating your ability to develop relationships with external customer stakeholders and identify innovative ways to multiply the impact of your team.
What you'll do
As an AI Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers in Sub Saharan Africa. You will partner with internal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Sales teams to assist with business growth, leveraging Google's brand credibility to lead the AI revolution for businesses worldwide. Your role will involve developing and executing strategic account plans informed by Google's responsible AI framework across your assigned territory or market.
You will work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customerβs technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, business drivers, competitors, and how they can transform their business using Google's technologies. Your ability to connect AI/ML with business value will be crucial in engaging executive stakeholders and driving adoption of AI solutions.
