Who you are
You have 1+ year of lead generation or inside sales experience — you've successfully engaged prospects through email and phone conversations that lead to qualified meetings. Your experience includes leveraging Salesforce.com to manage a pipeline effectively and meet team goals. You are familiar with sales platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach.io, or Yesware, which you use to enhance your outreach efforts. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy being the initial point of contact with prospects, representing the future of education.
What you'll do
As a Sales Development Representative at Newsela, you will work across the Sales organization to support aggressive growth by researching and qualifying leads. Your days will involve responding to inbound inquiries and conducting proactive cold outreach to potential new customers. You will provide online product demonstrations that draw prospects into initial discovery calls, helping to identify key needs that lead to qualified opportunities for the Sales team. You will collaborate with your team to inform strategy and processes that enhance sales performance, ensuring that your feedback from the market drives future product enhancements.
